Flick Haigh was involved in a high-speed accident at Oulton Park on the 14th of September 2013 when her Caterham R300 left the track whilst going through the high-speed Druids corner. After the accident Flick was airlifted to hospital with 6 broken ribs, 5 chipped vertebrae and a bruised lung.

Understandably Flick has since been taking time out of racing to recover fully from her injuries and on the 24th November 2013 had her first track-outing since the accident at a track day in her Ginetta G55 which she thoroughly enjoyed.

Flick is currently in the process of having her medical certificate signed in order to receive her race licence back and is presently in talks with various race teams on potential drives for next year.

Flick Haigh’s full 2014 race schedule will be announced shortly.
