Emerging behind the M3 GTR, Ratcliffe kept a close eye on the class leading car, before making a move for first position a few laps into his stint. After pitting for fuel, the Fauldsport car was pushed to second, and despite a valiant effort from the young Welshman, the advantage of the leading car which was running on fresh, wet tyres, left him to settle for second position.

Not to be disheartened, the pairing are well aware of the importance of consistency within the series, and take away with them a positive start to the 2013 Britcar MSA British Endurance Championship.

The Fauldsport Ginetta G55 of Ryan Ratcliffe and Flick Haigh powered to a podium finish in the opening round of the Britcar MSA British Endurance Championship last weekend, as the pairing travelled to Donington Park.
With both drivers having experience of Britcar races under their belt, things looked positive heading into their maiden weekend, just a fortnight after Ratcliffe had launched his 2013 racing season with an appearance in the British GT.

Staring the three hour race was former Caterham racer Haigh, who drove an incredible opening stint, putting pressure on the cars ahead of her, including the Mosler and Porsche, before handing the car over to teammate Ratcliffe from second position.
